An exhibition on musical life in the Netherlands before, during and just after the Second World War, focusing on 20 composers. The exhibition covers themes like music education, choirs & orchestras, refugee composers, the Concertgebouw, music for film and theatre, resistance, life in the camps and more. It shows reproductions of photos, letters, music manuscripts and other documents.

This exhibition is now prolonged until 5 July 2020 in the Folkingestraat Synagogue in Groningen. For information on opening hours visit www.synagogegroningen.nl

This exhibition is based on the exhibition created by Stadsarchief Amsterdam in 2015 and is financially supported by Stichting Maror and Stichting Levi Lassen.
