Exhibition Composers in times of war - The Hague


Our traveling exhibition can be visited in The Hague from 22June until 7 September.

An exhibition on musical life in the Netherlands before, during and just after the Second World War, focusing on 18 composers. The exhibition covers themes like music education, choirs & orchestras, refugee composers, the Concertgebouw, music for film and theatre, resistance, life in the camps and more. It shows reproductions of photos, letters, music manuscripts and other documents.
